The continental house

Africa’s Next Top Designers & Models

Born in Africa. Made for the World.

A house for the designers cutting cloth with a point of view, and the models who can carry it into a room — on the continent, and far past it.

Africa’s talents, our global pride

Work that already knows where it is going.

We look for designers who cut with a point of view, and models who can hold that point of view in light. The cloth may be wax print, satin, wool, or something that does not have a name yet.

What matters is that it is made here, and made to travel. The line on our crest is the brief: born in Africa, made for the world.

From the call to the last walk.

Four movements. No theatre for its own sake — a clear path from a portfolio to a room full of people.

  1. 01

    The call

Designers send the work. Models send a portrait and a note on the walk. We read every one.

  2. 02

    The room

Selected talents are invited into critique, styling, and preparation. The cloth gets honest eyes.

  3. 03

    The runway

A presentation where face, cloth, and light meet an audience. Photographs are made of the work.

  4. 04

    The world

The name leaves with the pictures. A public showing, and a way for the right people to find you.

The standard

Seen on the continent.

A study in cloth, walk, and light. These frames are the standard the house is building toward.

The call is open

If the work is ready, the house is listening.

Send the collection, or the portrait. Or call. The door is the same either way.
